We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused AC Start-Up & Warranty Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for final-stage system checks, start-ups, warranty diagnostics, scheduled service calls, and ensuring every installation performs exactly as designed.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform residential HVAC system start-ups and final quality inspections
     
  • Troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase installations
     
  • Verify proper installation (drain line pitch, coils, airflow, electrical, heating & cooling performance)
     
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools
     
  • Handle warranty corrections and scheduled service calls
     
  • Complete product registration for retail and new construction installations
     
  • Assess customer needs and offer appropriate warranty and service options
     
  • Maintain and manage a database of leads (retail, new construction, product registration)
     
  • Provide feedback on competitor activity and market position
     
  • Build strong relationships with vendor partners to stay current on product updates

Requirements
 
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent  
  • Minimum 1 year residential HVAC field experience  
  • 2+ years experience in HVAC start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting  
  • Experience with retrofit and new construction installations  
  • Previous in-house sales experience a plus  
  • ServiceTitan experience highly preferred 
  • EPA Certification preferred  
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record  
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills  
  • Ability to multitask and perform well under deadlines  
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills  
  • Ability to network and build community relationships
 
Physical & Schedule Requirements
  • Lift up to 30 pounds  
  • Ability to access attics and tight spaces  
  • Participate in on-call schedules  
Compensation: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
