We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Refrigeration Technician to join our team, supporting residential service and installation work with some exposure to commercial and new construction projects. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems while delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, and air handlers
- Support commercial and light new construction HVAC projects as needed, including system startups and equipment change-outs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform repairs, and recommend solutions
- Safely recover, evacuate, and charge refrigerant in compliance with EPA regulations
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and reliability
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and maintenance recommendations
- Complete service documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow all safety, OSHA, and company procedures
- Collaborate with dispatch, supervisors, and team members to ensure smooth job completion

Requirements
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on HVAC experience (residential required; commercial a plus)
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant systems
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments (attics, rooftops, construction sites)
Preferred Experience
- Commercial HVAC systems and/or new construction installations
- Knowledge of ServiceTitan highly desired
- Startup and commissioning of HVAC equipment
- Controls or basic automation experience
- Customer-facing service experience
Compensation: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
