Full-Time Electrical Helper-Somerset County, Bridgewater, NJ
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Electrical Helper to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills in the electrical trade while contributing to various construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, work safely, and support our experienced electricians in completing high-quality work efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Prepare work sites by gathering tools, materials, and equipment needed for electrical tasks
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist in pulling wire, installing conduit, and mounting electrical components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and testing systems
- Follow instructions and work under supervision to complete assigned tasks
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in residential electrical work
- Ability to obtain a New Jersey Electrical Journeyman’s License within 2 years of hire date
- Must have your own hand tools and basic cordless tools
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with some commercial work is a plus
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
