The HVAC Project Manager/Estimator oversees and manages commercial and/or residential HVAC projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards. The Project Manager coordinates resources, subcontractors, field teams, and vendors to achieve project goals.
Project Planning & Execution
  • Develop, manage, and oversee HVAC project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
  • Ensure projects meet contract requirements, building codes, and company quality standards.
  • Monitor progress, address challenges, and adjust project plans as needed.
Financial & Contract Management
  • Review and negotiate project contracts and change orders.
  • Manage project budgets, invoices, purchase orders, and cost tracking.
  • Prepare and present financial status reports for stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Coordinate with field supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Lead project meetings to ensure alignment on schedule, safety, and quality.
  • May supervise project staff depending on scope and organizational structure.
Customer & Stakeholder Relations
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and inspectors.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure project closeout includes documentation, warranties, and customer handoff.
Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce company and OSHA safety standards on job sites.
  • Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct job site inspections to confirm adherence to specifications and safety protocols.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of HVAC project management or related construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple commercial and/or residential HVAC projects simultaneously.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical drawings, and industry codes.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project documentation effectively.
Certifications (Preferred but not Required)
  • PMP Certification
  • OSHA 30
  • LEED Accreditation

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
